Jocelyn Nguyen is a multidisciplinary artist and vocalist. Her work blends memory, melancholy, and distortion. As a member of Vox Obscura, she builds sonic stories with ethereal vocals, minimal production, and surreal textures. The result feels intimate but distant, familiar but strange.
She started with classical piano and spoken word. Her sound took shape in quiet rooms, looping ideas late into the night. Her music holds both stillness and chaos. She explores identity, dream logic, and the quiet violence of time. Field recordings, voice fragments, and analog synths often appear in her tracks, adding a cinematic, ghostlike quality.
Her debut with Vox Obscura, Glass Rituals, introduced a voice that doesn’t shout but stays with you. She continues to create in both collaborative and immersive settings. Her work pushes the boundaries of vulnerability in a fractured world.
